Yogjitsu
Yoga and jiu-jitsu studio website design, designed and built from scratch by Vervio Digital Co.
The brief
Yogjitsu teaches yoga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to adults and children. It is run by husband-and-wife directors Viv and Silva Fortunato.
Two disciplines can easily read as two businesses. The site had to work for adults new to classes, weighing up yoga, jiu-jitsu or both, and for parents choosing a class for their child, without either group wading through the other's information.
What we designed and built
We built one identity across both practices and gave the classes page a clear split: Adult Jiu Jitsu, Adult Yoga, Kids Jiu Jitsu, Kids Yoga, the Yogjitsu fusion class for adults and for kids, private 1-to-1 sessions and community workshops.
Newcomers get a direct way in. The free trial form asks for no payment, and Yogjitsu replies to arrange the visit. Someone joining a class picks a venue and a class, and the studio sends a secure payment link to confirm the place.
A Work With Us page lets schools, studios, community centres and holiday clubs ask Yogjitsu to teach at their venue. The participation and liability terms have their own page, so a parent can read them before the first class.
Where it stands
Built and in preview with the client. It goes public once real photography, director portraits and full contact details are in. Online class booking with payment is a separate next phase.
